I got my first degree in accounting, but it wasn't really the right fit for me. After my youngest was born I returned to school and got my Bachelor of Music in Education from Cleveland State. I finished my Master of Arts with a Music Ed. concentration in 2010 from The Ohio State University. After leaving Medina City schools, I started teaching string instruments from my home. In 2018 I opened a studio, Twinsburg Music Connection. I have four additional teachers who teach piano, brass instruments, guitar and voice. I am also learning how to rehair and repair bows. It’s quite a challenge. For the past 5 years I have attended the Mark Wood Rock Orchestra Camp. It’s been a lot of fun and I have met a lot of amazing people.
